Tricycle driver Percival De Guzman, was arrested by the Laguna police after being tagged by a witness who saw him with a PS Bank Security Guard named Lester Ivan Lopez Rivera.
Cebanico, a 19-year-old 2nd year Computer Science UPLB student, came from a group study and was on her way to her dormitory when she was abducted. She had a bullet wound on her forehead and bruises all over her body. She did not have her underwear when her body was found and said to be raped before she was killed.
The police are waiting for SOCO’s investigation result that will determine if she was raped first before killed.

Shamcey Supsup, Bb. No. 26 bagged the Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2011 at the Binibining Pilipinas 2011 pageant held last night, April 10, at the Araneta Coliseum. Shamcey, competed with 39 other contestants who happened to be also special awarded with Best in Talent, Miss PAL, and Miss Cream Silk. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines College of Architecture and topped the Architecture board exam in July 2010.
Other winners are: Mary Jean Lastimosa, 2nd runner-up; Isabella Manjon, Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism; Dianne Necio, Bb. Pilipinas-International; and Janine Tugonon, 1st runner-up.

At least two pro-reform protesters have been killed and dozens more injured after hundreds of Bahraini riot police, armed with tear gas, rubber bullets and clubs, stormed their makeshift encampment in the main traffic circle in the capital, Manama, while they slept.
The pre-dawn assault on Pearl Roundabout, which has become the focal point for protesters demanding reform, was meant to disperse the crowd and regain control of the area.
Speaking to Al Jazeera from Salmaniya hospital, the main medical facility in Manama, Maryama Alkawaka of Bahrain Centre for Human Rights, said that she saw dozens of injured demonstrators being wheeled into emergency rooms early on Thursday morning.
Nazea Saeed, a journalist with Radio Monte Carlo, said hundreds of people had gathered at the hospital. Speaking to Al Jazeera from the scene, she said the crowd is chanting: “Down with Al-Khalifa”, in reference to the country’s ruling family.
“People are also chanting that the blood of the victims will not be in vein,” she added.
