Running a household these days seems to soak up every last bit of time, energy and money available to a family. It is almost as if you need to hit the jackpot at an online casino to cover your electricity, gas and water expenses! Homebuilders are creating behemoth structures and a sensible family car these days takes up three parking spaces. It is no surprise the green and environmentally friendly movement has gained so much momentum in recent years. Not only are families growing tired of such copious consumption – they are tired of every last penny of earnings going towards keeping their lifestyles running, literally.

Going green is trendy for sure, but there is also logic behind the movement. Not only does it save hundreds of dollars per month on a typical family’s electric and gas bills, but it helps young kids learn and appreciate the importance of treasuring the world around them. Children and adults alike should learn to appreciate the blessings of our planet – and finding ways to preserve resources can be a fun family activity.

Learning how to “green” your home does not have to be expensive or shocking.

Been wanting to buy another stand fan but because our place is too small for new stuff, I am thinking of getting a small ceiling fan instead. I checked the Internet to get an idea how much it will cost me to order online, and I am actually thinking twice, it’s way beyond my budget. Wel, because the ones I saw from the Hunter ceiling fans collection are really nice and one of them matches my furniture.

I want! I want! But right now I cannot! Budget is too tight for these things. Maybe before the year ends, I could. Maybe.

I almost forgot that June is the month for weddings. No wonder, I already got a couple of wedding invitations last week. One was from a close friend back in high school who has finally decided to tie the know with her long time boyfriend for 5 years. While the other one is from a former officemate who came on a short vacation to get married.

The problem now is I have scheduled appointments on these dates. We’ll see… I just hope I can make it. It’s always a beautiful feeling to witness people exchange vows.

I am a big fan of Vice Ganda. His sense of humor never fails to make me laugh. I, in fact, once wished to witness one of his shows live. The moment I learned he’s going to have an ultimate showdown in Olongapo, I got so excited to watch the entire show. I am glad it didn’t fall on a Sunday or otherwise, there won’t be someone to look after my daughters.

So yeah, he’s soon to have a show here in Olongapo.

Seriously, I need a diet pill that works. Ooopps not for me huh! For my friend whose been struggling to lose weight. I’d say she’s obese, so I guess she badly needs one who could help her and do miracle for her.

I’m glad I’ve passed this stage of figure consciousness. For more than 4 months after I have given birth to my youngest, I’d say I did good. I’ve lost 4 kgs in 2 months so I guess it’s a good sign of getting back to the old me figure. However, I also need to watch my diet carefully, and with that I admit I always fail!!!

I bumped into a high school classmate last Saturday and I was really shocked to see how much gained she had lost. She’s physically fit, in fact slimmer than I do. Could it be the wonder of apidexin?

We had a short chit chat and while I was talking to her, I still couldn’t believe that she’s slimmed down so much. The picture of her that I get in my mind was the old “chubby girl” who often get teased and bullied by our classmates because of her built.

Now, she’s very much confident dealing with people. I’m so happy for her!
