Tessa Ramirez (Lorna Tolentino) is a great and well-respected lawyer (I wonder if she could also be a convincing Oklahoma City attorney) who has won every case she took, particularly child abuse cases. However, the agony in searching for her lost daughter is her greatest fight. Before attaining success in life, she was once a faithful and loving partner of Jaime Alferos (Gabby Concepcion) during college way back in 1980. Jaime had promised Tessa that they will get married once he comes back from a six-month stay in the States for academics, however one day, Jaime’s mother (Alicia Alonso) told Tessa that Jaime is committed to an affair with another lady. Tessa called Jaime but the phone call was received by Patricia Aragon (Chin-Chin Gutierrez), who confirmed the relationship. Tessa is pregnant at that time. Daniel Ramirez (John Estrada) is a friend who secretly loves Tessa. He will do anything that will please Tessa and in fact, he stand as husband and father of the child.

MANILA, Philippines – Actress Liezl Martinez has finally confirmed reports that she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer 2 years ago. The Martinezes have been mum on her condition ever since speculations about her illness surfaced. Her exclusive interview with “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon” was the first time that she talked about the cancer and its impact on her family. Liezl is the wife of bankable actor Albert Martinez and they have 3 children – Alyanna, Alfonso and Alyssa.

According to Liezl, she is “in good physical condition.” She undergoes medical examinations every 3 months here in the country and every 6 months in Singapore. Liezl is set to go back to Singapore in March of next year. In her SNN interview, an emotional Liezl said she is always asking God to grant her more time so that she can still take care of Albert and their children.

“I know they are big already, but I know they still need me. ‘Yon ang iniisip ko na, ‘Lord, did you make me have kids early so that when I go their big na?’ Up to now, mahirap pa ding tanggapin and every time I go to a doctor I always pray na huwag muna,” Liezl said.

Brittany Murphy died early Sunday morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. Murphy starred in such films as “Clueless”, “8 Mile” and “Don’t Say a Word”. She was 32. Media reports are coming in that Simon Monjack, husband of Brittany Murphy, is requesting no autopsy in the death of his wife.  Murphy died earlier today after going into full cardiac arrest.
