Necrological services for former president Corazon Aquino today

The whole nation was united once again as the remains of former president Corazon Aquino was transferred from the La Salle Greenhills Gymnasium to the Manila Cathedral. Reports claim of more 120,000 people lined up in to watch the convoy carrying Cory’s coffin. The former leader of the republic passed away early morning of August 1 after months of battling colon cancer.
It seemed like history just repeated itself as the vehicle carrying the remains of Cory drove from the La Salle Gym to the Manila Cathedral. Thousands, who were mostly wearing yellow, the favorite color of Mrs. Aquino read full story here.
