Smokey Eyes

Been trying smokey eyes’ make up style but everytime I do, I don’t seem to succeed. I feel that my eyebags are more seen and noticeable. Not sure if it’s the way I have applied the eyeshadow or do I need to get rid of my eyebags first by applying an eye cream?

I’m not an expert when it comes to make-up application but I’d love to see more techniques on how to do it very well. To start off with, I have bought 2 sets of quad eyeshadow from Avon and we’ll see if I’d make it next time.

Looking Back

We are attending my colleague’s wedding tomorrow in Manila. Guess what we are giving the couple? A 20″ LCD flat screen TV, more than half of it is shouldered by the company and the rest from the contributions of our staff. Actually, it is in his wishlist. Glad we are able to grant one of his wishes.

Looking back, it makes me smile. I remember our wedding day. Gifts were pouring! Though we did not get a free hotel night, we were catered well, from drinks to food, we were taken care of – very well.

The major gifts that we got were:

  • Fridge
  • Washing Machine and
  • Cash

LOL!

Jewellery (also spelled jewelry) is an item of personal adornment, such as a necklace, ring, brooch or bracelet, that is worn by a person. But for me, I define it as my savior.

During the times when I was really down and had no one else to help me make the ends meet (well, there was no other source that’s why heehee!), my jewelleries saved me from loans. Instead of applying for loans, I sold my jeweleries in the pawnshop and survived for the time being till I get a better compensated job.

Since then, I make sure that I have at least a couple of jeweleries just in case you know…

7-11

Every morning, before going to work, I always pass by at 7-11 to get some things to eat for the day. But the other day was irritating! The barcode scanners can’t seem to read the items that I got.

And the worst part?I was really in a hurry! I was running late already. Good thing the store manager came and was able to open the cash register using his key. Otherwise, that could’ve spoiled my morning!
